Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the www.pnwha.org (“The Site”) website operated by the Pacific NorthWest Homeopathy Association (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

  • Your access to and use of The Site is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
  • These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use The Site.
  • By accessing or using The Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you are not eligible for membership, and should not subscribe, register or access The Site.

Termination

The Site may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Copyright Content of Materials – Usage Guidelines

The Site allows you to view materials within the Membership area. Only the individual member or participant registered for a class or event has access to these materials. Purchase of materials related to an event (such as a PNWHA case conference) are assured to be available for recorded online access for 3 years after the event.)

Login access can not be shared. Any login showing access from multiple IP addresses, and a pattern of use suggesting that the login details are being shared with others will be terminated.

Training materials are copyright, and intended for the use of The Site members. Downloaded documents and recorded videos are specifically prohibited from use as teaching materials in other settings outside of The Site without express written permission from The Site for each document and recording used. Access will be terminated for any individual who evidences violation of copyright.
This requirement includes all materials hosted on The Site.

Confidentiality of Case Materials – Usage Guidelines

Any presentation materials that may include video and written case information requires strict confidentiality, just as if the member or event participant was honoring confidentiality of any person whose case was being taken. Any clients whose case content is presented have agreed to have personal experience, and their personal discomforts and suffering used in a teaching context. They deserve the appreciation and respect that this contribution merits. Member confidentiality is specifically required. Content of these cases must not be discussed outside the The Site platform, just as a personal details of a case would not be discussed outside of interaction with the person whose case was taken. Access will be terminated for any individual who evidences violation of confidentiality.

Content and Community Engagement – Usage Guidelines

The Site allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”). You are responsible for the content you create or include. As a shared community resource, any discussion or commentary is expected to follow generally accepted practices of civil discourse and professional communication. All users of The Site agree to follow these guidelines:

  • Any topic is open to discussion that addresses the topic, not the individual that posted it. Any ad hominen attacks and name calling are explicitly in violation of the terms of use. The Site participants will receive one warning, and at a second event, access will be terminated.
  • Offer a different point of view or additional data that furthers the conversation.
  • Be civil. Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive, or hate speech.
  • Keep it clean. Don’t post anything obscene or sexually explicit.
  • Respect each other. Don’t harass or grieve anyone, impersonate people, or expose their private information.
  • Respect our community portal. Don’t post spam or otherwise vandalize the forum. Do not advertise any personal services or goods.
  • Let this be each post’s intent: Improve the Discussion. If unsure, pause, reflect and come back to it later.
  • Follow copyright law. Each member agrees to post only documents, images, video or other material that belongs to the member, or has been granted express permission for use. Each member agrees that he/she/they will abide by copyright law and respect the unique contributions of all. Additionally, each member agrees to the prohibition on posting descriptions of, links to, or methods for stealing intellectual property (software,m video, audio, images), or for breaking any other law.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said. The Site is not responsible for any content posted by members.

Links To Other Web Sites

The Site may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by The Site. The Site has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that The Site shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
